How is Rockwool Loft Insulation Installed?
Rockwool loft insulation should be installed to a depth of approximately 270mm – 300mm for maximum thermal insulation.
The insulation should be rolled into the spaces between your loft joists and then another layer placed across the joists to completely cover them.
Your loft may already have some loft insulation. Even if you have up to 150mm you can still take advantage of a Government loft insulation grant and get a free loft insulation top up to meet the recommended level.
